El Final del Día
Some of the music written for El Final del Día, a documentary about a small town in the north of Chile. Here lies an upcoming Apocalypse; but one not occasioned by old prophesies and rumours, but by the irresponsible hand of man himself. The music intends to empathize progressively with the people and to unify the main themes of the film: the Aymara culture and its reverence towards their ancestors, the Maya prediction of the end of the world, and the human injustice. It was mainly written for charango, harp and bass viola da gamba.
