BIOGRAPHY

Jorge is a Chilean-born, London-based composer whose music has been broadcast in over 20 countries, including on ABC Australia, BBC, Channel 4 & 5, ITV, NatGeo, Netflix, SVT, and TVE. He has composed music for 10 TV series, including Hijos de las Estrellas 1, 2 & 3 (2014, 2018, 2023) and Proyecto Arca 2 (2019) — produced by the Academy Award-winning production company Fábula — as well as four feature films and over 50 short films, animations, and commercials.


His work has been recognized with six Jerry Goldsmith Award nominations, a Pulsar Award nomination for Best Music for Film, and a nomination at the FilmHaus: Berlin Film + New Media Competition. Jorge has released three soundtrack albums, five albums with EMI Production Music UK, and recently released his first album with West One Music.


Jorge orchestrated and was part of the creative team behind the musical The Happy Prince, which premiered at The Place in London. He was also commissioned to create arrangements for choir and organ, performed at St. Peter’s Cathedral and Paul VI Hall at the Vatican during a ceremony held by Pope Francis.


In addition to composing, Jorge is a visiting lecturer at the Royal College of Music and a former lecturer at the University of Bedfordshire.


He holds a Master’s degree in Screen Composition from the Royal College of Music and a BMus in Composition and Arranging from a Berklee Global Partner institution (Projazz, Chile).
